Halcyon began in a workshop above a piano shop, with a stubborn question: what would a pair of headphones sound like if nobody was allowed to cut a corner?

The answer took four years. We turned down investors who wanted us to add an app, a battery, a subscription. We kept the team at six, because past six, the care starts to leak out.
